On 5th August 2020, a day prior Roza Yedileva's first day in office as Qörahbar of Quruli, a referendum on the flag of Qurulistan was held.
In the end, Quruli citizens voted to replace the national flag. 60% voted for the new one, and 40% voted for the current one.
