==== The Sparrowivan Political Crisis ====

In December 2003, a dispute over the control of Sparrow's military led to a political crisis in the region. The crisis began with the creation of the Sparrow Elite Covert Ops (SECO). Bradfordsburg, which was not included in the SECO's power structure, claimed the organization, led by The Archduke Hegemon of Borogravia Moldavi, was intent on conducting a political coup in Sparrow.

More than 70 nations, many of which had been affiliated with the SECO, were ejected from Sparrow before moderators intervened and took the then-unprecedented step of removing Bradfordsburg as the founder of Sparrow.

Sparrow was left founderless after being griefed. On April 25, 2004, Bradfordsburg organized a successful coup against The Alpine Republic of Tygaland's UN Delegacy in Sparrow. Upon attaining the UN Delegate position, Bradfordsburg symbolically ejected Tygaland and Borogravia Moldavi. Moderators responded by deleting Bradfordsburg and appointing Borogravia Moldavi as founder of Sparrow.

The coup was carried out by Borogravia Moldavi's puppet nation, Gracius Maximus, which ejected over 500 nations from the region and established 'The North Pacific Directorate.' The Evergreen Republic vocally objected to the SECO's alliance with the New Pacific Order.

The Radiant, which marketed itself as the birthplace of Dáxlam, claimed to have one of the most comprehensive regional maps in NationStates. The map was produced by New Bradfordsburg and, at one time, contained over 30 WA nations. In August of 2017, New Bradfordsburg went inactive. Soon after, many core members of The Radiant relocated to [https://www.nationstates.net/region=radiant_republic Radiant Republic], a region founded by [https://www.nationstates.net/nation=odinburgh The Galactic States of Odinburgh].
  +
  +
Odinburgh previously served as the WA Delegate of The Radiant.
  +
  +
Radiant Republic's population grew to over 20 nations and held a high ratio of WA nations.
  +

When New Bradfordsburg and Bradfordsborough re-founded in September of 2017, The Dux reassumed duties as The Radiant's founder. The Radiant had a population of less than 10 nations when New Bradfordsburg re-founded the region.
  +
  +
Upon re-founding The Radiant, The Dux -- via New Bradfordsburg -- tried to convince The Radiant's ex-pats to return. Radiant Republic's regional government, however, showed disinterest in reunification.

==== The First War of The Radiants ====
  +
In October of 2017, an escalating diplomatic crisis between The Radiant and Radiant Republic took a turn for the worst after a regional poll in Radiant Republic asked member nations if Radiant Republic should declare war on The Radiant and force "''the religion of Daxlam to disappear completely off the face of the Earth.''"<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32630155#p32630155</ref>
  +
  +
On October 1, 2017, as the poll in Radiant Republic remained open for voting, foreign powers began to take notice of the ongoing diplomatic crisis. [https://www.nationstates.net/nation=atrilan The Technocratic State of Atrilan], which is the founding nation of [https://www.nationstates.net/region=cobalt_network Cobalt Network] offered unconditional support for Radiant Republic in a regional message board post in Cobalt Network.<ref>https://www.nationstates.net/page=rmb/postid=27453251</ref>
  +
  +
Dux Bradford John responded by issuing The Radiant's first declaration of war, which also came on October 3, 2017, and was issued against Cobalt Network.<ref>https://www.nationstates.net/page=rmb/postid=27477347</ref>
  +
  +
Three days later, the controversial poll in Radiant Republic had run its course. A majority of nations that participated in the poll voted in favor of war with The Radiant.
  +
  +
On October 5, 2017, New Bradfordsburg responded to the results of the poll by considering it an informal declaration of war. That day, New Bradfordsburg retaliated by issuing a formal declaration of war against Radiant Republic on The Radiant's behalf in the NationStates Forums.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32630155#p32630155</ref>
  +
  +
On the same day, Odinburgh offered a peace treaty to New Bradfordsburg that was rejected by The Dux.
  +
  +
New Bradfordsburg offered a counter treaty, which included conditions demanding a formal apology for threats against Dáxlam and allowed puppet nations of New Bradfordsburg to operate within Radiant Republic.
  +
  +
The Dux's counter treaty, dubbed The Treaty of The Radiants, was accepted by Odinburgh with a full apology 25 minutes The Radiant first declared war.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=425305#p32630312</ref>

Atrilan followed up with an apology on behalf of Cobalt Network, which was accepted by all parties, thus ending The First War of The Radiants.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32630155#p32630524</ref>

The Radiant was at peace for two days after the signing of The Treaty of The Radiants.
  +
  +
Shortly after signing the treaty, Odinburgh faced backlash in Radiant Republic. Several regions aligned with Radiant Republic also voiced strong objections to the treaty. Talks between New Bradfordsburg and Odinburgh further destabilized when Odinburgh suggested that the October 5 peace deal should be revised.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32681153#p32681153</ref>

===== The Radiant/ OSN Conflict =====

On October 7, 2017, Radiant Republic's ally, [https://www.nationstates.net/region=order_of_the_southern_north Order of the Southern North] (OSN), a region led by [https://www.nationstates.net/nation=indo-malaysia Indo-Malaysia], admitted to holding a war footing against The Radiant.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32681153#p32681153</ref>
  +
  +
The conflict, however, appeared unwanted by both parties. On OSN's regional message board, puppets of New Bradfordsburg engaged in diplomatic talks with Indo-Malaysia. Both nations expressed desires to end the conflict soon after it began.<ref>https://www.nationstates.net/page=rmb/postid=27524843</ref>

===== An Uneasy Peace =====

On October 12, 2017, a former ally of The Radiant -- [https://www.nationstates.net/region=the_commonwealth_of_crowns The Commonwealth of Crowns] -- cut ties with both The Radiant and Radiant Republic. Posts from New Bradfordsburg's puppet nations also began getting suppressed on Radiant Republic's regional message boards.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32660670#p32671569</ref>
  +

In response, New Bradfordsburg began releasing ''"The Odinburgh Cables,"''<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=425305&hilit=appointment&start=25#p32671641</ref> which were a collection of telegrams from Odinburgh that The Evergreen Republic declassified to the public.

==== The Second War of The Radiants ====

Subsequent to the declaration of war, Odinburgh offered new peace talks with New Bradfordsburg if The Radiant sued for peace,<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32683383#p32683383</ref> but the prospect of new talks was rejected by The Dux,<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32683887#p32683887</ref> and he complained about the appointment of a non-WA nation named [https://forum.nationstates.net/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1040179 Truth to Liars] to a high-ranking regional officer position in Radiant Republic.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32688127#p32688127</ref>

On October 15, after the founder of OSN called The Dux's previous threats 'hollow,'<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32685938#p32685938</ref> The Radiant launched a symbolic invasion of OSN in conjunction with forces from the Eurasian Nomadic States, led by SpenZerous.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32688441#p32688441</ref>

The Dux then rejected a secondary offered by Odinburgh.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32688597#p32688597</ref>

  +
===== The Longest Day =====
  +
The Longest Day began when an invasion force three times the size of the one that symbolically raided OSN was dispatched against Radiant Republic by The Dux and King Geedorah of SpenZerous, also known as The Controller of The Planet X.
  +
  +
The invasion of Radiant Republic was timed to occur minutes before a mid-morning WA update.
  +
  +
A little before 9 a.m. that morning, an army of nine WA nations moved into Radiant Republic and endorsed a puppet state of New Bradfordsburg named Winterstan.
  +
  +
The unexpected invasion caught Radiant Republic completely off-guard, and regional officers in the region did not catch the invasion in time. At 9:21 a.m., The Dux announced on the NationStates Forums that "Radiant Republic has been raided and is now in the hands of The Radiant and The Eurasian Nomadic States."<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32700147#p32700147</ref>
  +
  +
New Bradforsdburg, via Winterstan, began immediately cancelling Radiant Republic's many embassies. In lieu of the embassy cancellations, embassy requests were sent to well-known raider regions like The Black Hawks.
  +
  +
The Dux also used the raid to threaten Central Pacific Empire, an allied region of Radiant Republic.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32700800#p32700800</ref>
  +
  +
The raiding army led by SpenZerous and New Bradfordsburg was ejected when Odinburgh logged in and regained control of the region less than two hours later. Among the ejections Odinbugh also sent The Military Junta of Shreminov and The Former Dáxlamic Queendom of Lussia, two longtime members of The Radiant, to the Rejected Realms.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32700767#p32700767</ref>
  +
  +
New Bradfordsburg then placed demands on the NationStates Forums, asking Odinburgh to dissolve Radiant Republic in exchange for a cessation of hostilities.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32701029#p32701029</ref> Odinburgh accepted New Bradfordsburg's terms later that day.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32701528#p32701528</ref>
  +
  +
Odinburgh agreed to The Dux's terms for peace less than five hours after Radiant Republic was raided.
  +
  +
==== The Reunification of The Radiant ====
  +
The first nations to return to The Radiant were Shreminov and Lussia.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32704894#p32704894</ref>
  +
  +
On October 18, reunification efforts accelerated between Radiant Republic and The Radiant when New Bradfordsburg went public about a telegram received from SpenZerous demanding The Dux continue a clandestine war against OSN, and a separate region controlled by Odinburgh named The Great Socialist States of Odinovich.
  +
  +
The telegram was published on the NationStates Forums along with a commitment from The Radiant to honor the peace deal with the nations of Radiant Republic.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32708391#p32708391</ref>
  +
  +
The raiding army led by SpenZerous continued aggression against Radiant Republic, leading Odinburgh to enter discussions about re-locating to The Radaint.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32754822#p32754822</ref> Soon after, roughly a dozen ex-pat nations returned to The Radiant.
  +
  +
By February of 2018, the population of The Radiant grew to over nations.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=32807023#p32807023</ref>
  +
  +
The Radiant began to see population retraction in the spring of 2018, and recruitment efforts to replenish extinct nations were discontinued. Systemic WA multis plagued The Radiant after the region's reunification, and charges brought by New Bradfordsburg against high-ranking members of The Radiant's community caused The Radiant to splinter into factions.
  +
  +
On July 16, 2018, The Dux made his last post on The Radiant's offsite forums, and the nation ceased to exist roughly a month later, in August of 2018.
  +
  +
==== The Third War of The Radiants ====
  +
In January, of 2019, New Bradfordsburg was revived once again and declared war upon Novus Lucidum, a region founded by Odinburgh, declaring it "a bastion of traitors against Dáxlam." <ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=35210022#p35210022</ref>
  +
  +
A month later, the Dux once again went inactive.
  +
  +
The Radiant was finally raided by [https://www.nationstates.net/region=the_black_hawks The Black Hawks] in March of 2019.<ref>https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=35464568&sid=c98b508eb2f3273637fc08ecd8e0da38#p35464568</ref>

Dux Bradford John, commonly called The Dux, is the founder of Declansburg and head of state for The Dáxlamic Evergreen Republic of New Bradfordsburg. He has previously served as the founder of several notable regions, including Sparrow, Dux Milan and The Radiant.

Antiquity[]

The Dux's roots in NationStates go back to antiquity, with the founding of the nations Bradfordsburg and Randovia in 2003.

Bradfordsburg[]

Initially, Bradfordsburg led a quiet existence. The nation interacted only with a handful of nations that resided in the small region of Pelican. In the spring of 2003, Bradfordsburg briefly attained the position of United Nations (UN) Delegate in Pelican. After being ejected to The Rejected Realms by Pelican's founder, Bradfordsburg founded Sparrow.

Post-Antiquity[]

Bradfordsburg was most known as the founding nation of Sparrow.

Sparrow[]

Sparrow's growth accelerated quickly and region became one of the largest player-created regions in NationStates between October and December of 2003. By December 2003, Sparrow's number of nations grew to over 400. All the while, Bradfordsburg served jointly as Sparrow's founder, UN Delegate, and as the region's first elected president.

The Sparrowivan Political Crisis[]

In December 2003, a dispute over the control of Sparrow's military led to a political crisis in the region. The crisis began with the creation of the Sparrow Elite Covert Ops (SECO). Bradfordsburg, which was not included in the SECO's power structure, claimed the organization, led by The Archduke Hegemon of Borogravia Moldavi, was intent on conducting a political coup in Sparrow.

Bradfordsburg suspended Sparrow's constitution in late December and griefed the region on December 26, 2003.

Moderators responded by deleting Bradfordsburg[1] and appointing Borogravia Moldavi as founder of Sparrow.

The Classical Era[]

The Evergreen Republic of New Bradfordsburg was founded on June 13, 2004[2] and became the WA primary nation of Dux Bradford John on the same day.

New Sparrow[]

New Bradfordsburg resided in Randovia briefly before joining New Sparrow in the summer of 2004. New Sparrow, founded by Borogravia Moldavi, was Sparrow's successor region.

New Bradfordsburg held a seat in New Sparrow's parliament. While in the region, New Bradfordsburg maintained poor relations with Borogravia Moldavi and Tygaland, which were further strained when Borogravia Moldavi and the SECO, in conjunction with New Pacific Order, led a shocking coup in The North Pacific. The coup was carried out by Borogravia Moldavi's puppet nation, Gracius Maximus, which ejected over 500 nations from the region and established 'The North Pacific Directorate.' The Evergreen Republic vocally objected to the SECO's alliance with the New Pacific Order.

After the coup, Borogravia Moldavi transitioned primary nations to Pierconium. In late 2004, the region of New Sparrow began falling an era of decline. By 2005, many of the nations from Sparrow had either left the region or gone inactive. New Bradfordsburg served a short stint as the region's immigration minister in 2005 before the region folded. Soon after, in 2006, New Bradfordsburg went inactive for the first time.

Pierconium has since been condemned by the World Assembly.[3]

The Renaissance Era[]

In 2013, New Bradfordsburg was re-founded in Lazarus. Subsequently, the nation organized the founding of a region named Dux Milan via the puppet state of Bradfordsborough.[4]

New Bradfordsburg's first reference to the Dux's current title occurred on November 26, 2013, when The Evergreen Republic announced "the Defenders of our Dux returned His Greatness to power after six long years of tumult and tragedy."[5]

On the same day, over a decade after the nation's original founding, New Bradfordsburg made its first ever NationStates Forums post. The post announced New Bradfordsburg's return to NationStates and invited nations to join Dux Milan. The post's subject, 'Brad the Tyrant is BACK,' made reference to a nickname once used disparagingly to describe Bradfordsburg in Sparrow.[6]

Dux Milan[]

Dux Milan's population never exceeded 50 nations but the region maintained an active base of core players for several years.

The region was organized as a constitutional democracy, led by a Dux Council populated by several World Assembly (WA) nations that conducted business on offsite forums administered by Dux Bradford John.[7]

New Bradfordsburg remained Dux Bradford John's primary nation in Dux Milan, while the nation's puppet of Bradfordsborough held the title of founder. In Dux Milan, New Bradfordsburg published a regional map that included roughly a dozen nations.

In the middle part of 2014, Dux Milan's population began to sink and New Bradfordsburg went inactive for a second time.

The Dáxlamic Reformation[]

Less than two years later, New Bradfordsburg once again was re-founded. The nation's re-founding coincided Dux Bradford John's founding of the Dáxlamic faith.

New Bradfordsburg's first reference to Dáxlam is on June 9, 2016, when the nation announced "the Holy Faith of Dáxlam has been named the one creed of New Bradfordsburg."[8]

Accompanying the designation of Dáxlam as the national faith, Dux Bradford John released seven pillars to serve as the faith's guiding principles.

The Modern Era[]

In the spring of 2016, the Dux briefly found a home in The Wolf Clan, where he ran for immigration minister with the nation Jonstontinople, a puppet of New Bradfordsburg. After losing the election, the Dux left the region.

TheRadiant

The flag of The Radiant (circa 2016-2018).

The Radiant[]

Dux Bradford John founded The Radiant in June, 2016.[9]

Like in Dux Milan, the puppet state of Bradfordsborough was designated as The Radiant's founding nation.

The region made its first recruitment drive in August of 2016 and slowly grew in population until reaching a stability as a large region in late 2016. By early 2017, The Radiant had over 70 nations.[10]

Soon after, many core members of The Radiant relocated to Radiant Republic, a region founded by The Galactic States of Odinburgh.

Odinburgh previously served as the WA Delegate of The Radiant.

Radiant Republic's population grew to over 20 nations and held a high ratio of WA nations.

When New Bradfordsburg and Bradfordsborough re-founded in September of 2017, The Dux reassumed duties as The Radiant's founder. The Radiant had a population of less than 10 nations when New Bradfordsburg re-founded the region.

Upon re-founding The Radiant, The Dux -- via New Bradfordsburg -- tried to convince The Radiant's ex-pats to return. Radiant Republic's regional government, however, showed disinterest in reunification.

The First War of The Radiants[]

In October of 2017, an escalating diplomatic crisis between The Radiant and Radiant Republic took a turn for the worst after a regional poll in Radiant Republic asked member nations if Radiant Republic should declare war on The Radiant and force "the religion of Daxlam to disappear completely off the face of the Earth."[11]

On October 1, 2017, as the poll in Radiant Republic remained open for voting, foreign powers began to take notice of the ongoing diplomatic crisis. The Technocratic State of Atrilan, which is the founding nation of Cobalt Network offered unconditional support for Radiant Republic in a regional message board post in Cobalt Network.[12]

Dux Bradford John responded by issuing The Radiant's first declaration of war, which also came on October 3, 2017, and was issued against Cobalt Network.[13]

Three days later, the controversial poll in Radiant Republic had run its course. A majority of nations that participated in the poll voted in favor of war with The Radiant.

On October 5, 2017, New Bradfordsburg responded to the results of the poll by considering it an informal declaration of war. That day, New Bradfordsburg retaliated by issuing a formal declaration of war against Radiant Republic on The Radiant's behalf in the NationStates Forums.[14]

On the same day, Odinburgh offered a peace treaty to New Bradfordsburg that was rejected by The Dux.

New Bradfordsburg offered a counter treaty, which included conditions demanding a formal apology for threats against Dáxlam and allowed puppet nations of New Bradfordsburg to operate within Radiant Republic.

The Dux's counter treaty, dubbed The Treaty of The Radiants, was accepted by Odinburgh with a full apology 25 minutes The Radiant first declared war.[15]

Atrilan followed up with an apology on behalf of Cobalt Network, which was accepted by all parties, thus ending The First War of The Radiants.[16]

The Treaty of The Radiants[]

The Radiant was at peace for two days after the signing of The Treaty of The Radiants.

Shortly after signing the treaty, Odinburgh faced backlash in Radiant Republic. Several regions aligned with Radiant Republic also voiced strong objections to the treaty. Talks between New Bradfordsburg and Odinburgh further destabilized when Odinburgh suggested that the October 5 peace deal should be revised.[17]

The Radiant/ OSN Conflict[]

On October 7, 2017, Radiant Republic's ally, Order of the Southern North (OSN), a region led by Indo-Malaysia, admitted to holding a war footing against The Radiant.[18]

The conflict, however, appeared unwanted by both parties. On OSN's regional message board, puppets of New Bradfordsburg engaged in diplomatic talks with Indo-Malaysia. Both nations expressed desires to end the conflict soon after it began.[19]

The Radiant/ OSN Conflict was devoid of military conflict between WA combatants. Peace between The Radiant and OSN was reached on October 10, 2017.[20]

An Uneasy Peace[]

On October 12, 2017, a former ally of The Radiant -- The Commonwealth of Crowns -- cut ties with both The Radiant and Radiant Republic. Posts from New Bradfordsburg's puppet nations also began getting suppressed on Radiant Republic's regional message boards.[21]

In response, New Bradfordsburg began releasing "The Odinburgh Cables,"[22] which were a collection of telegrams from Odinburgh that The Evergreen Republic declassified to the public.

The Second War of The Radiants[]

On October 14, 2017, Radiant Republic decertified The Treaty of The Radiants[23] and Dux Bradford John responded by issuing a declaration of war against Radiant Republic several hours later.[24]

Subsequent to the declaration of war, Odinburgh offered new peace talks with New Bradfordsburg if The Radiant sued for peace,[25] but the prospect of new talks was rejected by The Dux,[26] and he complained about the appointment of a non-WA nation named Truth to Liars to a high-ranking regional officer position in Radiant Republic.[27]

On October 15, after the founder of OSN called The Dux's previous threats 'hollow,'[28] The Radiant launched a symbolic invasion of OSN in conjunction with forces from the Eurasian Nomadic States, led by SpenZerous.[29]

The Dux then rejected a secondary offered by Odinburgh.[30]

The Longest Day[]

The Longest Day began when an invasion force three times the size of the one that symbolically raided OSN was dispatched against Radiant Republic by The Dux and King Geedorah of SpenZerous, also known as The Controller of The Planet X.

The invasion of Radiant Republic was timed to occur minutes before a mid-morning WA update.

A little before 9 a.m. that morning, an army of nine WA nations moved into Radiant Republic and endorsed a puppet state of New Bradfordsburg named Winterstan.

The unexpected invasion caught Radiant Republic completely off-guard, and regional officers in the region did not catch the invasion in time. At 9:21 a.m., The Dux announced on the NationStates Forums that "Radiant Republic has been raided and is now in the hands of The Radiant and The Eurasian Nomadic States."[31]

New Bradforsdburg, via Winterstan, began immediately cancelling Radiant Republic's many embassies. In lieu of the embassy cancellations, embassy requests were sent to well-known raider regions like The Black Hawks.

The Dux also used the raid to threaten Central Pacific Empire, an allied region of Radiant Republic.[32]

The raiding army led by SpenZerous and New Bradfordsburg was ejected when Odinburgh logged in and regained control of the region less than two hours later. Among the ejections Odinbugh also sent The Military Junta of Shreminov and The Former Dáxlamic Queendom of Lussia, two longtime members of The Radiant, to the Rejected Realms.[33]

New Bradfordsburg then placed demands on the NationStates Forums, asking Odinburgh to dissolve Radiant Republic in exchange for a cessation of hostilities.[34] Odinburgh accepted New Bradfordsburg's terms later that day.[35]

Odinburgh agreed to The Dux's terms for peace less than five hours after Radiant Republic was raided.

The Reunification of The Radiant[]

The first nations to return to The Radiant were Shreminov and Lussia.[36]

On October 18, reunification efforts accelerated between Radiant Republic and The Radiant when New Bradfordsburg went public about a telegram received from SpenZerous demanding The Dux continue a clandestine war against OSN, and a separate region controlled by Odinburgh named The Great Socialist States of Odinovich.

The telegram was published on the NationStates Forums along with a commitment from The Radiant to honor the peace deal with the nations of Radiant Republic.[37]

The raiding army led by SpenZerous continued aggression against Radiant Republic, leading Odinburgh to enter discussions about re-locating to The Radaint.[38] Soon after, roughly a dozen ex-pat nations returned to The Radiant.

By February of 2018, the population of The Radiant grew to over nations.[39]

The Radiant began to see population retraction in the spring of 2018, and recruitment efforts to replenish extinct nations were discontinued. Systemic WA multis plagued The Radiant after the region's reunification, and charges brought by New Bradfordsburg against high-ranking members of The Radiant's community caused The Radiant to splinter into factions.

On July 16, 2018, The Dux made his last post on The Radiant's offsite forums, and the nation ceased to exist roughly a month later, in August of 2018.

The Third War of The Radiants[]

In January, of 2019, New Bradfordsburg was revived once again and declared war upon Novus Lucidum, a region founded by Odinburgh, declaring it "a bastion of traitors against Dáxlam." [40]

A month later, the Dux once again went inactive.

The Radiant was finally raided by The Black Hawks in March of 2019.[41]

The Post-Modern Era[]

The Dux returned to gameplay in 2021, with the re-founding of New Bradfordsburg.

Upon re-founding, New Bradfordsburg renewed friendly diplomatic engagement with several former high-profile nations that once resided in The Radiant.

Attempted Liberation of Sparrow[]

In July of 2021, the Dux via Bradfordsborough attained the non-executive WA Delegate position in New Sparrow, and lodged a proposal with the WA Security Council attempting to liberate Sparrow.[42]

The proposal was withdrawn on July 30, 2021, coming 17 endorsements short of achieving quorum.[43]

Declansburg[]

The Normalization of Relations with Novus Lucidum[]

On December 4, 2021, the Dux requested formal relations with Novus Lucidum on behalf of Declansburg, thus signaling an end to The Third War of The Radiants.[47]

The request was lodged on the regional message board of Novus Lucidum via The Dáxlamic Provinces of The Evergreen Cangaluyan Maritimes, a puppet nation of New Bradfordsburg located within Novus Lucidum.[47]

The SpenZerous Affair[]

Novus Lucidum became plagued by nations that impersonated the personality of Dux Bradford John and various Evergreen Republics held by New Bradfordsburg after The Dux attempted to normalize relations, and several nations impersonating The Dux were deleted by moderators on December 6, 2021.[48]

The deletions allowed the Dux to liberate the region of Randovia on Dec. 8, 2021.[49] Previously, the Randovia had been re-founded by a puppet nations impersonating the Dux.

With mounting skepticism as to which nations were truly controlled by The Dux, New Bradfordsburg proved its ownership of a puppet nation within Novus Lucidum, The Evergreen Cangaluyan Maritimes, with a verification post on the regional message board of Declansburg.[50] The next day, Odinburgh announced a policy of reconciliation with New Bradfordsburg and endorsed reunification discussions with The Evergreen Republic.[51]

As relations between Declansburg and Novus Lucidum warmed, matters on the Novus Lucidum message boards escalated significantly.

On December 7, 2021, moderators intervened in Novus Lucidum a second time when several nations that moved into the region were considered death threats against The Dux.[52]

After reports were filed by New Bradfordsburg, moderators announced the nations, one of which had been named "Slaughter Brad," had been founded by SpenZerous, who known jointly as the founder of The Planet X.[52]

The recruitment efforts during the Second Great Migration were solely focused on World Assembly nations.

Liberalization of Dáxlam[]

On Christmas Day, 2021, for the first time since the faith was founded in 2016, the Dux revised Dáxlam's seven pillars.[54]

The Third Great Migration[]

On January 9, 2022, New Bradfordsburg began another largescale recruitment campaign aimed at both WA nations and non-WA nations. The recruitment drive, which is ongoing, has produced Declansburg's largest population growth. Within two weeks, Declansburg's population grew from 73 nations to 207 nations,[44] making it the 113th largest region in the world.[55]

As of March 5, 2022, Declansburg's number of nations stood at 501, making it the 40th largest region in NationStates.
